review of clothing loves

I love online shopping. It makes me save time, energy and stress from a lot of people especially if they all have announced to the world that they will have a three day sale. For sure people are rushing immediately to their favorite boutiques. Moreover, if you have an 8-hour job and you rather go home and spend time with your family than shopping in the mall but you just really love shopping. I recommend the site Clothingloves.net. It is a one stop source of first quality products at rock-bottom prices. They also offer wholesale clothingfashion dressescheap homecoming dresses and a lot more.

Almay Clear Complexion Makeup Foundation Review

almay clear complexion makeup review

Almay Clear Complexion Makeup

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
-This soothing Makeup works with salicylic acid, a proven blemish clearing ingredient to prevent future breakouts.
-Infused with meadowsweet to help purify skin as well as aloe and chamomile to protect against dryness and reduce the appearance of redness.
-Helps eliminates oil all day to banish unwanted shine so you get flawless, natural coverage that is perfect for everyday.

Almay Clear Complexion Makeup is available in a very small variety of shades. There are seven shades in total: Ivory, Buff, Naked, Neutral, Beige, Sand and Warm.

I chose the shade Buff, which is a light, warm peachy-beige. It's a good match for my skin when I have no tan - around MAC NC15-20 coloring.

I picked this foundation up about a month ago at my local drugstore on the clearance rack for a couple of dollars. Apparently, Almay revamped the packaging for the product, and the new and improved packaging includes a pump - yay! I'm unaware at this time if the formula has been changed in any way. I emailed Almay, and am currently awaiting a response. I'll update this post once I know for sure.(Update 2/6: I received a response from Almay and they said, "To address your inquiry, some ingredients in the Clear Complexion Liquid Makeup have been changed and added." Kind of bummed to hear that, but I'll pick up a bottle in the near future and see how it compares.)

This foundation is targeted for oily or acne-prone/problematic skin as it contains salicylic acid, which is an ingredient found in most acne medications to help clear and prevent acne blemishes. For oily skin, it may help control oil, but for dry to normal skin types, it can be drying.

My skin is normal (not dry or oily), but sensitive and prone to breakouts, and I find that it can dry out my skin if worn too often. I try to alternate this foundation with another during the week, wearing it only a few days.

The consistency is creamy, somewhat similar to Revlon Colorstay or Maybelline Superstay, but not as thick. I don't have any problems with the foundation drying too quickly or caking during application, and the application is smooth. I like using a stippling brush to apply the foundation, and then going over it with a large buffer brush to blend it all in. The finish is satiny, but soon after (about 10 mins later) dries to a semi-matte/matte. I barely have to set with a powder, just mainly under my eyes. After 6 hours, my face is still matte when wearing this!

Wet n Wild Dollhouse Pink Mega Last Matte Lipstick Review

Last week I posted about one of the new Spring shades of Wet n Wild's Mega Last Matte Lipstick and I loved it so much, that I decided to go back and try one of the other bright pinks that was released.

Dollhouse Pink is a very vibrant blue-based pink. It's a sister of MAC Pink Nouveau or Pink Friday, so if you've always been curious about trying one of those shades, this is a great alternative to play around with, since it's only a couple of dollars. It's slightly brighter than the two, but it can be tweaked a little bit.

Aside from the awesomly vibrant color, it's very pigmented and applies completely opaque. It has a matte finish, but it's not a dull matte (more of a satin).

It's definitely an in-your-face bright, but it can be toned down by applying a couple of dabs on your lips and blend with a clear lip gloss wand. It actually looks absolutely gorgeous that way, and probably the way I'd wear it the most.

Surprisingly enough, I don't own any bright, blue-based pinks (I owned a few before - MAC Pink Plaid, Melrose Mood and Snob - but swapped them away). I usually stay far from pink lipsticks that aren't warm-toned, but I've noticed lately that they suit me pretty well when I'm minus the faux tan.

Christian Dior Rosy Tan 5-Colour Eyeshadow Palette Review

I've quickly turned into a Dior junkie ever after trying my first quint . Thankfully, Dior doesn't have a huge selection of colors in their permanent line that are tempting enough for me to go nuts over. I find warm toned palettes with shades of golds and browns to be hard to resist, which are more common in their seasonal palettes.

Some of the palettes are a hit or a miss pigmentation-wise, but I've had very positive experiences with Dior so far. I love their buttery soft texture, blendability and luminous finish.

Believe it or not, I've had my Urban Decay Naked Palette for quite some time now, and I barely ever reach for it. And honestly, I'm not even sure why. There is a decent selection of colors and all, but it's definitely a highly raved product that doesn't get much love from me on a weekly basis.

I'm very "pro" convenience/low-maintenance products, and I find the convenience of the Dior 5-color palettes very appealing. They are housed in a very sturdy mirrored compact and contain 5 shades of shadow that compliment each other for a variety of looks. They also contain two double-sided applicators, which believe it or not - I actually use each time I use my Dior palettes. One side of the sponge is large for applying color all over the lid, and the other side is smaller for lining the eyes and/or applying color through the crease. It's everything you need, in a small compact.

With a couple Sephora gift cards I had left over from Christmas, I treated myself to the Rosy Tan 5-Colour Eyeshadow palette.

Rosy Tan contains a warm brown with fine gold shimmer, a light pink pearl, a velvety taupe-brown, a silvered metallic brown and an icy champagne-pink pearl. All of the shades work very well together for a soft, neutral look. I'm especially loving the middle shade - it's probably the prettiest color I own for an inner-corner and brow bone highlight. My second favorite shade from the palette is probably the silvery brown on the bottom left.

I really do like this palette, but the only thing I'd probably change is to make the darkest brown a little deeper so I can create a more intense eye. I still feel the need to add an additional deep brown (such as Nars Mekong) or a black shadow to darken my crease. I doubt I'll get too much use out of the pink, but I'm sure I'll be using all of the other shades pretty often. I still have yet to play around with this palette though, as I've only worn it twice so far. I can definitely see this being one of my "go-to" palettes to create a quick look on the go.
